Farmington Feed in 5: Week of May 12, 2025

Hey, Farmington. It's Caryn here bringing you the latest with the feed in five. Join the cities of Farmington and Empire for their fourth annual spring food truck event. It will be Friday, May 16 from 5 to 8PM at Stelzel Ballfields in Empire. The food truck lineup includes waffle bar food truck, HaDa Foodie, the brick oven bus, California dip and eat, Acme chicken bowls of the twin cities, Schroder concessions, old smoky BBQ, and Blue Loon concessions, but their donut truck only. Come join in family fun.

Join Farmington Police Department at their annual open house on Saturday, May 17 from 11AM to 2PM at the Farmington Police Station. This is your chance to interact with the department and celebrate National Police Week. Some things you might see are cool SWAT gear and vehicles, bounce houses, K9 demonstration, sheriff drone team, a helicopter or two, weather permitting, of course. We'll also have Kona Ice Truck and Bourbon Butcher their with food and drinks for purchase.

You can also take a tour of the police station. Don't forget, it's Stuff the Squad. Bring your food donations to donate to Farmington Food Shelf. Let's see how many pounds of donations we can get. Although this is an outdoor event, we ask that you leave your dogs at home as we're gonna have our K9s there.

Let's help support the Rambling River Center by attending the VFW Steak Fry on Saturday, May 17 from 4PM to 8PM at the Farmington VFW. Tickets will be available at RRC's temporary location in Fire Station 1. The event is sponsored by Farmington Steak Fry Committee, VFW Post 7662 Enjoy a Von Hansen grilled steak, baked potato salad, and dessert. The cost is $17 per person. If you're interested in volunteering or bringing a dessert, contact the center at 651- 280-6970.

This is a friendly reminder that Farmington City Hall will be closed Monday, May 26 in observance of Memorial Day.
